Preventive Services

Preventive services are offered to children ages 17 and under who have no dental insurance/coverage.

Clinics are provided at the Porcupine Health Unit dental clinic or in a community setting using portable dental equipment.

Services include one or all of the following:

• Oral hygiene instruction
• Cleaning of teeth (scaling and polishing)
• Topical fluoride application
• Pit and fissure sealants
