Inside you will find lots of information on the benefits of breastfeeding, as well as helpful tips when it comes to positioning, expressing breast milk, and more.

  • Caring for Kids: Provides general information on breastfeeding, including current recommendations for breastfeeding, how to know when breastfeeding is going well and how to express milk.
  • Region of Peel: Breastfeeding: Developed by Peel Public Health, this website helps parents make an informed deicision by discussing studies regarding breastfeeding, the causes of some health problems in infants as well as how breast milk reduces an infant’s health risks. A series of video tutorials show moms the basics of breastfeeding, such as breastfeeding positions, latching, milk supply and more.
  • Motherisk-Breastfeeding: Provides information and guidance to pregnant or lactating patients and their health care providers regarding the risks associated with drug, chemical, infection, disease and radiation exposure during pregnancy.
  • La Leche Leaque Canada: La Leche League International encourages and promotes breastfeeding through mother-to-mother support networks.
  • Eat Right Ontario: Provides information on the benefits of breastfeeding and healthy nutrition during breastfeeding.
