Inspection Services

The Inspection Department at the Porcupine Health Unit is committed to promoting and protecting public health and continually meeting the new challenges from our environment that can affect human health.

Programs include food safety, drinking water quality, recreational water quality, emergency response, rabies control, West Nile virus surveillance, outbreak and infection control, healthy environments, enforcement of the Smoke Free Ontario Act and onsite sewage disposal.
