Porcupine Diabetes Information Services (PDIS)
The Porcupine Diabetes Information Services provides services to people living with diabetes in Timmins. The dietitian and nurse will work with you to help you manage your diabetes. For more information call 705-264-6803.
M.I.C.s Diabetes Program
The M.I.C.s diabetes program provides service to people living with diabetes in Iroquois Falls, Matheson and Smooth Rock Falls. The dietitian and nurse will work with you to help you manage your diabetes. For more information call 705-272-7342.
Timmins Family Health Team
The Timmins Family Health Team has a dietitian on staff that is available to you only if you are part of the family health team. Referrals to the dietitian can be made by your doctor.
Anson General Family Health Team
The Anson General Family Health Team is located in Iroquois Falls. A dietitian is available to you only if you are part of the family health team. Referrals to the dietitian can be made by your doctor.

Centre de santé communautaire de Kapuskasing et région
The Centre de santé communautaire de Kapuskasing et région is located in Kapuskasing and serves the communities between Fauquier and Opasatika. One to one counseling services with a dietitian are available for clients of the Centre. Workshops and health information sessions are open to the general public. Please note that services are offered in French.

The Timmins Good Food Box allows you to purchase quality, fresh fruits and vegetables at a much lower price that you would normally pay. You pay for your box at the beginning of the month and pick it up 2 weeks later. For more information call 268-6262 ext. 241
Mountjoy Independent Farmers Market
The Mountjoy Independent Farmer’s Market is located in Timmins at the Centennial Hall on Park Avenue. It is open every Saturday from mid-July to Mid-October from 8:00am to noon.
