Nutrition Services at the PHU wants to help you Cook up Some FUN!

This program focuses on breaking poor family eating habits and reducing stress around family meals. During this 2 hour workshop, you will learn how to plan meals, how to get your kids involved in cooking and how to create a positive eating environment for your family. You will also receive a variety of resources including a cookbook, meal planners and shopping planners.

These resources are also available for you to download below, even if you have not attended a Cooking Up Some Fun workshop.

  • Cooking Up Some Fun, the guidebook to our Cooking Up Some Fun workshops, with tips and kid-friendly health recipes. (32 pages - PDF: 1.4 MB)
  • Our meal planning chart. Space for planning your meals a week at a time, with room for suggestions from Canada's Food Guide (Bilingual PDF: 475 KB)
  • Our shopping list. Colour-coded by the food groups in Canada's Food Guide, it makes it easy to check off the items you need before shopping. (Bilingual PDF: 462 KB)
