Assessment services are available for the following populations:

Preschool children with any type of communicative disorder, except for those relating to a physical (including cleft palate) or developmental challenge is the primary mandate. Through the Preschool Speech and Language Program, the mandate may be relaxed to address the waiting lists within the system.

Preschool children having only a hearing impairment.

Speech-language screenings for children entering junior kindergarten are conducted through a parent screening questionnaire (adapted from Furman 1984), as part of an early identification program. Those children are seen for a screening evaluation.

Prevention Services

Learning Language and Loving It is a Hanen Program® for Early Childhood Educators.
