Preschool Speech and Language Program

The Preschool Speech and Language Program at the Porcupine Health Unit offers a family-based approach with a variety of intervention services designed to prevent, identify, assess and treat communication disorders. In addition, education and promotional programs are offered to the general public, parent groups, day care personnel, teachers, special agencies and other professionals.

Such programs are designed to provide information about normal speech and language development, early identification of disorders, referral routes, and availability of community resources.
