Celebrate Food In March!

March is Nutrition Month – a time when dietitians across Canada raise awareness about healthy eating and nutrition. This year the dietitians at the Porcupine Health Unit want to help you and your students be more consumer savvy by reading food labels and understanding where our food comes from! Contact the dietitian from your school team for activities and resources for your classroom. Our School Services Guide will also provide you with a list of programs you can take advantage of throughout the school year, including teacher training, in-school activities, comprehensive school programs and grocery store tours for senior students.
