This resource focuses on the origin of our food, buying locally grown and produced food products, reading labels and making healthy food choices. It includes background information, student activities, teaching/learning strategies, and assesment information. This guide has been linked into the Ontario curriculum in Health, Language, Math, Science and Technology, Social Studies (Grades 1-6), and Social Studies and the Humanities (Grades 9 - 10).
