Effective Tuesday, July 2, until Friday, August 23, 2019, the Porcupine Health Unit hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Closed from noon – 1 p.m.)
The Iroquois Falls branch of the Porcupine Health Unit is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 4:30 p.m.
During the summer months of July and August our hours change to 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
We have regularly scheduled clinics available by appointment for immunization, travel vaccines, sexual health, and dental services.

The Preschool Speech and Language Program provides speech and language services to children from birth to entry into Senior Kindergarten. Assessment and a range of treatment services are provided at no cost.

The Porcupine Health Unit is responsible for conducting surveillance in order to monitor and limit the spread of diseases in the community.
All public pools, spas, and wading pools in the Porcupine Health Unit`s district are inspected on a regular basis. To ensure that these facilities are safe for public use, operators of these facilities must know the regulations and guidelines that pertain to their operation.
The Porcupine Health Unit investigates all animal incidents where there is a break to the skin, such as teeth marks and scratches, for the risk of rabies. If you have been involved in an incident, report animal incidents to the health unit so follow-up can begin.
