Anyone 12 years of age and older is strongly encouraged to get their first and second dose of COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible. All individuals 12 years of age and older, who have received their first dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least 28 days ago can now get their second dose. Youth 12-17 years of age must receive the Pfizer vaccine.
For first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, appointments can be booked online, or by calling 705-360-4819 (Timmins) or 1-800-461-1818, or drop-in at any clinic to get vaccinated the same day. Appointments are required for all second COVID-19 vaccine doses. Visit the PHU vaccine webpage to find out when upcoming clinics are scheduled.
Primary healthcare providers offering COVID-19 vaccines will be contacting their clients to schedule a vaccine appointment.
Appointments are required for the sensory friendly vaccine clinic that will be held in Timmins on July 6, 2021, for youth 12 years of age and older. Adults who may prefer to attend a clinic with limited distractions are also welcomed. The health unit will be taking the following steps at the clinic to ensure a positive experience:

The town of Moosonee is not included in the graph above as they received their vaccines through Operation Remote Immunity, rates will be included once confirmed.
