Prenatal Education
Congratulations! You’re pregnant and you’ve come to the right place. The Porcupine Health Unit offers both face-to-face prenatal workshops and online prenatal education. You may choose to register for one or the other, or both! All prenatal education programs are available free of charge.
You and your partner will gain knowledge and confidence while you explore the up-to-date world of pregnancy, labour and birth, and what to expect after your baby is born. You can expect to learn about a variety of topics listed below:
- Breathing, relaxation and comfort techniques
- Breastfeeding
- Care of mom and baby after birth
