BOIL WATER ADVISORY:
Nagagamisis Provincial Park has issued a Boil Water Advisory (BWA) effective June 27, 2018. Patrons affected are required to bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute prior to use or use bottled water. See our Boil Water Advisory page for tips on using water safely during a BWA.
The Hornepayne branch of the Porcupine Health Unit is open Mondays from 8:30 a.m. to noon and Tuesdays-Fridays 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 4:30 p.m.
During the summer months of July and August our hours change to Mondays 8:00 a.m. to noon and Tuesdays-Fridays 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Because breastfeeding is normal, local businesses want to show their support. Many businesses display the International Breastfeeding Friendly Place Logo. Businesses will receive many resources for becoming designated as Breastfeeding Friendly.
When municipal services for drinking water and sewage are not available, individuals must look elsewhere to ensure that their drinking water is safe and waste is disposed of safely. Also, the water that is used for recreation needs to remain protected to ensure that people are not getting sick while swimming in area lakes or pools.
